Production Operator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our team, in a well-established successful family business.
You will work on a production line as instructed by the Team Leader to ensure that all products are of a high standard and quality, before being delivered to the next stage of the process.
The role:
- Ensure products are produced effectively and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Band packs right first time.
- Ensure correct and accurate labelling of finished products.
- Carry out basic service work: clear pointer, change blades, set cross cut etc.
- Responsible for housekeeping in your area of work.
- Report any damage or breakdowns.
- Assist colleagues as and when required by undertaking additional tasks within the business.
- Cooperate on quality, health and safety matters and suggest improvements as part of a team.
- You must be health and safety conscious, committed to following safe ways of working.
The ideal applicant will:
- Be resident in Wales
- Aged 16-19 at point of sign up to the Jobs Growth Wales Programme
- Be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Be work/apprenticeship ready (have all the minimum qualification requirements in place).
Working hours are 39.25 hours per week:
Monday to Friday 07:00 am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.00 am to 2.30 pm Friday.
