TOTUM Discount for Students
What is TOTUM
OK, so I don’t mean their confusing catchphrase from the posters and leaflets – yes, we get that you are not a pole, it isn’t even the same spelling! But, what is TOTUM?
TOTUM is the replacement for the old NUS Student Discount Card and is still the only Student Discount card approved by and backed by NUS. It still offers features to tie in proof of age ID (snazzy right?) and boasts a ‘Digital Only’ version as their FREE version of their Student Discount platform (this replaces their old LITE version).
The TOTUM Card comes in several variations and at several pricepoints depending on what you want to get out of it and depending on how long you want it for.
Their Bundles and Sign-Up Process
OK then, let’s delve into the bundles they have to offer and their sign-up process as it currently stands.
Login / Sign-Up
If you already have a TOTUM account, you will need to login to get started (Fig. 1) – you might already have this if you read their blog or news pieces or take part in their Giveaways.
If you don’t, then you will need to Sign-up for an account (Fig. 2).
Select your Place of Study
Either select your place of study as Coleg Cambria or if this already shows as somewhere else, click on the UPDATE button to change it and select Coleg Cambria instead as per Fig. 3.
Choose Your Bundle
From the options, choose the Bundle you want for your TOTUM card.
The TOTUM Digital option is completely FREE and allows you access to all of the discounts and offers available through the TOTUM website and linked advertisers.
1 YEAR: £14.99
2 YEARS: £24.99
3 YEARS: £34.99 (SOMETIMES DROPS TO £34.99 ON SPECIAL OFFERS)
TOTUM Cards are free to collect from the College or are charged an additional £1.50 to be posted directly to your home address.
A second option is available to add PASS-accredited proof of age ID to your TOTUM card. To be able to take TOTUM up on this offer you will need to supply a photo of a valid passport of UK Driver’s Licence as well as uploading a passport-style photo (meeting typical passport photo requirements).
In addition to this, all paid for options allow you to add a charitable donation to ‘Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK)’ at a £1 donation in response to the climate emergency. This donation will fund the Teach the Future campaign.
